Yo No? G.I. Joe: Retaliation release pushed to next year

G.I. Joe: Retaliation has been reportedly pushed back nine months to March 29th, 2013. The sequel to 2009′s G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra was supposed to come out on June 29th but Paramount decided to push it back to release the film in 3D. Films have had a lot of success in 3D as of late, especially with movies such as Titanic and the recent box-office hit The Avengers. Whether this is a good decision for Retaliation remains a big question. Retaliation is a reboot of the franchise, hoping to make up for the poor reviews the first film garnered. The sequel stars Bruce WillisChanning Tatum & Dwayne Johnson and is directed by John Chu, well known for directing Step Up 3D  and Justin Bieber: Never Say Never

Guess we’ll have to wait a little more to say Yo Joe!

  1. I have to wait until next year? :-( Oh well, the anticipation will have plenty of time to build up.

Indeed! Hope it is as good as it is hyped. Thats always the problem when movies are over hyped – the disappointment affects you way more. Nonetheless, we’ll see!
