TIFF 2012: Bryan Cranston confirms ARGO

Recently it was announced that Jackie Chan would be attending the 37th annual Toronto International Film Festival for the Shangri-La Hotel Toronto Asian Film Summit. That was an epic first announcement and people have already begun speculating the kind of films and events that will be presented at the festival.

Bryan Cranston just made it a tad easier on us. In a recent interview with Matte Babel of ET Canada, Cranston revealed that his upcoming film Argo - directed by and co-starring Ben Affleck - will screen at TIFF 2012!

Affleck was last seen as director in The Townwhich premiered at TIFF 2010. His latest film, Argo, is about a CIA “ex-filtration” specialist who devises a plan to rescue six American’s during the peak of the Iranian revolution. The film features a stellar cast including John GoodmanAlan Arkin and Rory Cochrane, along with Cranston and Affleck.

This is just the beginning to another amazing film festival year!
